    Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

    Location

    Hybrid role based in the Austin, TX area. Approximately 85% remote with occasional on-site work for key audit tasks and collaboration.

    Note

    Candidates must have at least some audit experience (internship or 1 year+). Must be able to work in the Austin area as needed.

    Job Description

    • Support financial audits by performing testing, walkthroughs, and workpaper documentation
    • Assist with fieldwork and audit procedures in collaboration with senior leadership
    • Prepare audit schedules, reconcile accounts, and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate
    • Communicate with internal staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure timelines are met
    • Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy
    • Contribute to continuous process improvements and maintain organized audit files
    • Take on additional preparatory and accounting work immediately prior to the main audit period

    Qualifications

    • Audit internship or 1+ year of audit experience in public accounting or a related environment
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a closely related field
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
    • Commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
    • Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Austin, TX
