V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Contract Applications Engineer Mid for our premier client Sunnyvale, CA.
 
 
Education and Experience:
 

• 5 + Years

 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
 

• Strong experience with CI/CD design and implementation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar)
• Source control management expertise (Git, Perforce, SVN) including branching strategies (Gitflow, trunk-based development) and merge/repo hygiene policies
• Build systems and tooling (Make, Gradle, Maven, Bazel, MSBuild, CMake, etc.)
• Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, Shell/Bash, PowerShell, Groovy, or similar)
• Experience with packaging and deployment tools/artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus, Docker registries)
• Containerization and orchestration knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for build/deploy pipelines
• Infrastructure-as-code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Static and dynamic code analysis tools (SonarQube, Coverity, or similar)
• Code coverage and test automation frameworks; SDET background with test integration into CI/CD
• Agile toolset administration (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) for user stories/defect tracking
• Plan, create, and maintain large-scale software releases, libraries, and version control strategies across the organization, ensuring consistent and reliable delivery cycles.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust CI/CD solutions that automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple teams and environments.
