Knowledge and Skills:
Define and implement the application architecture.
- Assess the shared foundation against automotive needs; define required extensions, client-server boundaries, APIs, data models, and application-state management. Favor reuse over unnecessary redesign.
Clarify requirements and integration responsibilities.
- Work with Product Management, Systems Engineering, measurement-system, firmware, and back-end owners to define complete workflows, interface behavior, dependencies, and testable acceptance criteria.
Establish co-development practices.
- Agree shared-component ownership, branching and contribution practices, dependency versions, and compatibility testing with partner development teams. Maximize shared improvements while minimizing disruption and unnecessary divergence.
