    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Contract Review, Negotiation, and Risk Management
    • Review and negotiate project-specific agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, NDAs, lien-related documents, insurance requirements, and other assigned contract types within established authority limits and guidelines.
    • Escalate agreements that fall outside approved parameters, contain non-standard terms, exceed assigned dollar thresholds, or otherwise require higher-level review.
    • Prepare and revise contract addendums based on company standards and approved language.
    • Identify and communicate contractual risks related to items such as payment terms, indemnity, or insurance requirements.
    • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation and procedural requirements.
    • This role does not review or evaluate statements of work for scope accuracy; scope validation is the responsibility of the business (Sales/Operations).

    Contract Lifecycle Management
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of contract documents, including initial intake, internal routing, negotiation, signature execution, and related documentation.
    • Maintain contract status and associated documentation in iReview, ensuring that contract histories and required materials are complete and current.
    • Use supplemental logs or trackers when required by a specific CTC or internal process.
    • Support consistent execution of contract workflows in accordance with company policies and standards.

    Insurance, Bonding, and Compliance Support
    • Request and obtain certificates of insurance needed for customer or project-specific requirements.
    • Coordinate bonding requests (including bid, performance, payment, and warranty bonds) within delegated authority limits.
    • Ensure contract terms align with insurance and bonding requirements and escalate exceptions when needed.
    Government, Regulatory, and Prevailing Wage Support
    • Assist with preliminary notice filings, tracking, and coordination with AR, NCS, Legal, and Operations.
    • Support prevailing wage requirements, including wage determinations, reporting, and documentation needs.
    • Assist with subcontractor onboarding by ensuring required documentation (licenses, W-9, COIs, NDAs/MSAs, safety documents) is collected and compliant.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration and Customer Engagement
    • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, and other internal partners to support timely and accurate contract handling.
    • Communicate professionally with customers regarding contract requirements, documentation needs, and status updates.
    • Support Sales and Operations with RFP reviews (limited to contract terms), prequalification forms, and customer portal requirements.
    • Provide assistance to project teams with documentation related to compliance, insurance requirements, and customer obligations.


    Skills and Qualifications
    Required
    • Experience in contract management, commercial negotiation, or related responsibilities (specific years of experience to be confirmed based on organizational needs).
    • Working knowledge of contract terms and risk identification.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with contract management systems and tools, including iReview.

    Preferred
    • Experience in construction, technology integration, or other project-based industries.
    • Familiarity with Convergint systems, processes, and contracting standards.
    • Exposure to government contracting or prevailing wage processes.
