Contract Administrator

At CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, our Contracts & Procurement team plays a critical role in supporting growth, enabling operational excellence, and protecting the company through effective contract management. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Contract Administrator III to support our business from opportunity identification through contract closeout

Salary range for this position will be $95k-$125k

Required Skills

As a Contract Administrator, you'll manage the full contract lifecycle and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, program teams, and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing government solicitations, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other acquisition documents to identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Supporting proposal development by preparing contractual assumptions, reviewing proposal submissions, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
• Administering contracts from award through performance and closeout.
• Negotiating and managing contract modifications, terms and conditions, and customer communications.
• Serving as the primary contractual point of contact for assigned programs and customers.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), subcontract agreements, license agreements, and OCI mitigation plans.
• Advising program teams on contract performance issues, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies.
• Maintaining contract records and ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Building strong partnerships across Contracts, Finance, Security, Project Controls, Business Development, and Program Management teams.
• Supporting and mentoring junior contracts professionals as your experience grows.

required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Contracts Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years of experience in federal government contract administration.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable FAR supplements.
• Experience supporting a variety of contract types, including:
• • Firm Fixed Price (FFP)
  • Time & Materials (T&M)
  • Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)
  • Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF)
  • IDIQ Contracts
  • GSA Schedule Contracts
• Experience administering contracts through modifications and closeout.
• Ability to review, issue, and negotiate subcontracts, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts throughout the entire lifecycle, including proposal support, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex contractual issues and balance business objectives with compliance requirements.
• Experience collaborating directly with government customers and senior program leadership.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.
