CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION TECHNICIAN Multi-Family Section 8 The West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the “Fund”), a quasi-governmental organization providing safe, decent affordable housing across West Virginia, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of a Contract Administration Technician in our Charleston Office. We are dedicated to increasing the supply of residential housing for individuals and families of low- and moderate-income. We also provide construction and permanent mortgage financing to public and private sponsors of such housing. To date, the Fund has issued more than $4.5 billion in bonds and has financed more than 165,000 housing units since it began operation in 1969. Job Summary: This employee is responsible for reviewing and analyzing Housing Assistant Payment (HAP) vouchers; processing annual rent and utility allowance adjustments; reviewing vacancy, unpaid rent, and damage claims; and responding to tenant calls. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable HUD regulations and guidebooks. It is essential they establish and maintain open communication with property owners, project managers, and management agents. This employee will have access to sensitive and confidential data; therefore, confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Essential Functions:

Required Education/Experience: High School Graduate or GED equivalent with a minimum of three years accounting or related experience in contract administration/subsidized housing programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Teams. Preferred Education/Experience: Associate Degree in Business or Accounting with S8 Administration experience. Required Certificates/Licenses: Certified Occupancy Specialist preferred or ability to obtain within first year of employment. |
