When the lights glow and the lines hum, you are the anchor. From clock-in at 6:00 PM to the 6:00 AM handoff, you own the overnight production story—coordinating people, equipment, and priorities across 1–2 production lines, two slitter lines, and the downstream flow through packaging, shipping, and receiving. You set the tone for safety, quality, and delivery, keeping the plant moving and the team growing.
You arrive with a plan—production schedules aligned, staffing set, priorities clear. As orders run, you balance throughput with quality, adjust for changeovers, and keep customer commitments front and center. You coach operators on best practices, approve timecards, track attendance, complete performance feedback and reviews, and handle corrective actions when needed. When issues arise, you partner closely with Maintenance and Quality to troubleshoot, reduce downtime, and stabilize the process.
Leaders with a hands-on manufacturing background—preferably in coil coating, steel, aluminum, or other continuous-process environments—who are comfortable making real-time decisions, elevating team performance, and improving line results night after night.
