    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an Associate’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Specialist. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and operational support within a manufacturing environment.

    The successful candidate will assist with continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with cross-functional teams to support efforts that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance. This position offers strong opportunities for skill development and career growth.

     

    Primary Duties:

    Continuous Improvement Support

    • Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals
    • Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
    • Support Lean activities such as 5S, process mapping, and Kaizen events
    • Help track and update key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Maintain documentation for processes, standard work, and improvement efforts

    Project & Process Support

    • Provide support on improvement projects, including data gathering and follow-up tasks
    • Work with team members to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
    • Assist with implementing process changes and documenting results
    • Support communication of process updates to team members

    Quality & Collaboration

    • Assist quality and operations teams with process and product improvement efforts
    • Help monitor and report on performance metrics
    • Collaborate with different departments to support operational improvements

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Support supervisors and team leads with day-to-day improvement activities
    • Assist with updating training materials and work instructions
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field (required)
    • Internship, coursework, or hands-on experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (preferred)
    • Basic understanding of Lean concepts (training or coursework is a plus)
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data tracking and analysis
    • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to grow into expanded responsibilities over time

     

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment
    • Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
    • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs

     

    Attendance Requirements:Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory.

    Salary Range: $24-$27/hour, depending upon experience
