Continuous Improvement Manager

We are searching for a dynamic individual to spearhead Lean Six Sigma initiatives at our Gainesville, FL facility. This pivotal role focuses on cultivating a culture of continuous enhancement and translating business strategies into operational successes. You will lead significant improvement projects, offer Lean Six Sigma training, and foster a network of collaborative improvement professionals enterprise-wide. We seek a proactive individual with a zeal for operational efficacy to champion improvements that propel the site and the entire Fine Chemicals division forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive the successful implementation and sustainability of Lean Six Sigma programs, aligning them with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to deliver effective Lean Six Sigma training (such as Yellow Belt and Green Belt) to enhance site capabilities.
- Oversee the identification, prioritization, and execution of critical improvement projects that yield tangible benefits in safety, quality, cost efficiency, and productivity.
- Actively engage in coaching project teams and individuals, nurturing their skills in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and change management.
- Engage and influence stakeholders to foster commitment, reduce resistance, and embed a continuous improvement culture.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on improvement metrics, project outcomes, and site performance enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- MINIMUM: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- LEAN SIX SIGMA: Certified at least as a Black Belt; Master Black Belt preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in a chemical process or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated success in leading CI initiatives.

PREFERRED: Candidates identified as high-potential with leadership aspirations, experience in regulatory environments, advanced problem-solving acumen, and a collaborative, people-development approach.
