The Continuous Improvement Leader is a hub-based role responsible for designing, leading, and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain Operations. The position partners directly with the Associate Director, Continuous Improvement and Operations leadership to improve service, quality, cost, and customer experience by strengthening processes, eliminating waste, and improving execution discipline. Operating as an extension of Continuous Improvement and Operations leadership, the role leads structured improvement efforts, facilitates Lean transformation activities, and embeds continuous improvement behaviors across the organization. The Continuous Improvement Leader ensures that improvements are data-driven, measurable, repeatable, and sustainable, while building long-term improvement capability across the supply chain network. Essential Functions - Lead and govern continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain Operations using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Partner with the Associate Director, Continuous Improvement and Operations leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives aligned with strategic and operational objectives.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, and structured PDCA problem-solving activities.
- Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps, recurring issues, and root causes impacting service, quality, cost, or efficiency.
- Design and implement sustainable process improvements that reduce waste, improve quality, and shorten cycle times.
- Develop project charters, business cases, baseline metrics, and control plans to ensure improvements are tracked and sustained.
- Monitor performance through KPIs, dashboards, and project reporting, communicating progress and outcomes to leadership.
- Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and behaviors across Operations.
- Coach and mentor leaders and associates in continuous improvement methods, tools, and execution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities - Lead Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and operational pain points.
- Facilitate structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to address both proactive and reactive operational challenges.
- Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including cross-functional and enterprise initiatives.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and metrics to evaluate improvement effectiveness and business impact.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions, validating effectiveness over time.
- Reinforce standard work, execution discipline, and process adherence through training, coaching, and follow-up.
- Support cross-functional initiatives impacting service, cost, quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for continuous improvement practices across the organization.
