Are you a passionate change agent who thrives on making things better? As our new Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our Lean transformation at the Jackson, MI facility, with a clear mission to deliver significant year-over-year productivity improvements.

This is your opportunity to lead from the front, coaching and mentoring cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and streamline our operations. You won't just be identifying opportunities; you will be empowering our people to create a culture of sustainable improvement.

Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on our bottom line. You will see your strategies come to life on the shop floor, creating a safer, more efficient, and more effective manufacturing environment for everyone.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, guiding them to implement impactful Lean and Six Sigma improvements on the shop floor.
• Use your expertise in Value Stream Mapping and data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and design smarter, more efficient processes.
• Dive deep into complex challenges, leading root cause analysis efforts to solve problems permanently and prevent them from recurring.
• Act as a Lean champion and coach, training teams on methodologies like Kaizen and 5S to build a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
• Partner with production leaders to develop and execute tactical improvement plans that deliver measurable results against our key business goals.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with a Green Belt certification being highly preferred.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects to achieve significant, measurable improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in value stream mapping and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
