Contingent Workforce Program Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of a large contingent workforce program. This role will work closely with internal business partners, staffing suppliers, and workforce stakeholders to help ensure contingent worker processes run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding, offboarding, and assignment management of contingent workers
  • Maintain accurate worker and assignment information within a Vendor Management System (VMS)
  • Monitor required documentation and help ensure compliance with established program processes
  • Track program activity, compile data, and assist with reports and KPI summaries
  • Coordinate communication between hiring managers, staffing suppliers, and internal business partners
  • Respond to routine program questions and help troubleshoot basic process or system issues
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with audits, data validation, and general program administration
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and improve the overall contingent workforce experience

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, workforce management, program coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and process-driven workflows
  • Experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), or HRIS is preferred but not required
