Requires a moderate degree of PM knowledge, experience, skill & expertise.Addl. skills needed: comm, problem solving, managing for results, managing conflict, creativity & critical thinking.Operates in coordination with & takes direction from both the ePMO Lead/Proj Lead to ensure:All proj activities/outputs align with strategic objectives, deliverables, schedules, business case & expectations set with Sponsors & senior leadershipSupport a combination of simple projs while facilitating/guiding team to adhere to the PM disciplineThis position will drive setting the team's cadence for planning, updates & status reviews with Sponsors.He/she supports the success of the proj by applying PM principles, guidelines & standards.Travel may be required as needed.Job DutiesAssists Proj Lead to Ensure Proj Output Meets Program Expectations (~ 15% of time)Facilitates all Proj Planning & Execution of PM Activities (~ 25% of time)Applies PM Processes/Tools Appropriate for Projs (~ 50% of time)dentifies/Manages Interdependencies with other Projs/Initiatives (~ 10% of time)Other DutiesManages proj scope, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building & deployment of projs from beginning to endCreates/manages PM artifacts while educating the team on their creation/proper use throughout the proj such as:o Project Chartero Project Plano RACIo Risk/Issue identification & mitigationo Status report dev./updates appropriate PM artifacts, as neededReviews deliverables & ensures qualityProvides PM methodology/tools to ensure proper governance, oversight, strategic alignment & proj successFacilitates initiation/planning of proj scope (i.e. Objectives, resources, milestones, risks, comms, etc)Reviews funding, cost plans & actual expenses to verify projs are in line with funding parameters with Project LeadProficient in PM discipline with emphasis on effective use of PM soft skills essential to his/her successSolicits/gathers info. via interviews with process owners to understand the "as-is" &" to-be" processesIdentifies/communicates to the Project Lead skill gaps & recommends improvement opportunitiesProvides Project Lead with thorough responses to problem resolutionIdentifies business areas/stakeholders impacted by issuesIdentifies root causes to ensure problems do not reoccurAble to:o Communicate processes to customers trained on process changes/enhancementso Dev/monitor process metrics to gauge health of a proj & identify process improvement opportunitieso Observe a process & gather feedback/concerns from others for process improvement opportunitiesRequired QualificationsExperience applying Stakeholder/Comm Mgmt. principles including governing bodies/ Owners/Sponsors/key senior stakeholders/Project Lead/team/SME'sAble to plan weeks in advance to plan efforts & manage multiple projsAble to work full time (~40 hours per week with potential to work overtime if necessary); must be flexible to work occasional weekends, holidays & possible overnight stays depending on the assignment, as needed.Experience/expertise with Commercial PM Software (i.e. MS Project/Office, etc) & the ability to learn Projects Website & other toolsExperience with web-based remote meeting applications (i.e. Skype, Zoom, WebEx, etc)Willing to travel by plane or driving personal vehicle or rental car. [Note: mileage, airfare, rental car will be reimbursed]Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree (or int'l comparable degree)3 years of PM experience6 years as a proj team memberExperience using MS Office including MS Project/SharePointWilling to travel by plane or drive personal vehicle/rental carPreferred QualificationsPM Certifications: PMI PMP, Agile, LEAN Certified/Six Sigma, etc
