Content Production Manager | Brooklyn, NY · $100,000–$120,000
About the Role A growing media company is looking for a Content Production Manager to own its content calendar from start to finish. This role means every project — from greenlight to final delivery — moves through you, and you're the reason it comes out on time and at quality.
Key Responsibilities
Production Oversight
- Run the production calendar for all animated and live-action content across the year
- Coordinate animators, illustrators, storyboarders, and editors — assigning work, tracking versions, chasing deliverables
- Manage live-action creators and hold them to their delivery dates
Process & Approvals
- Work with the content director and script approver to move projects through creative approval without bottlenecks
- Be the one person in the company who always knows the status of every project, without being asked
Quality Control
- Catch quality problems early — flat storyboards, weak pacing, sloppy animation — before they reach final review
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a creative process from raw idea to finished product (production, publication, video pipeline, or content operation)
- Track record of pulling multiple contributors into one polished deliverable, repeatedly, on deadline
- Comfortable holding a line with creators — able to combine warmth with firmness
- Strong "taste" — able to identify and articulate the difference between a clean product and an amateur one
- Understanding of Jewish content, audience expectations, and hashkafic sensitivity
- Strong grasp of story structure, pacing, and what makes children's content land
- Nice to have: experience in video, animation, or film production
- Nice to have: background in frum publishing or media (managing editor, production coordinator, line producer, or similar)
- Nice to have: familiarity with production tools (review/approval platforms, project trackers)
