    Content Manager / Web Administrator

    A. Roles and Responsibilities

    • Perform web administration and content maintenance for OCIO-managed and other SBA office sites; log activity in ServiceNow and report monthly.
    • Produce and maintain the SharePoint content inventory with recommendations grounded in industry best practices.
    • Monitor content performance, web components, navigation, and load time via usage analytics and page diagnostics; remediate under-performing or non-compliant content.
    • Ensure agency-compliant coding, metadata, meta-tags, titles, and formatting for all content.
    • Ensure all updates and existing content (pages, documents, images, media) are Section 508 compliant; assist with federally mandated reports (508, Data Quality Guidelines, Privacy Policy).
    • Advise the agency web governance structure on 508 and content standards; train and guide program-office site owners.
    • Design prototype pages and templates in modern SharePoint; identify inactive, duplicate, and orphaned content for archival under the governance program.
    B. Experience and Qualifications
    • 5+ years of web content management; 3+ years administering SharePoint Online sites, hub sites, navigation, and modern pages.
    • Demonstrated delivery of content inventories, information-architecture recommendations, or content governance standards for an enterprise intranet.
    • Experience remediating documents and web content to Section 508 / WCAG 2.0 A-AA.
    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Management, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Certification (preferred): Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900); DHS Trusted Tester or 508 document remediation credential; federal web governance familiarity (21st Century IDEA Act, Digital.gov, plain language).
    • Eligible for a federal Public Trust background investigation and PIV credential.
