Job Description

We are seeking a Content Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise content management, governance, taxonomy, and lifecycle operations within regulated environments and a proven ability to establish scalable practices that ensure compliant, discoverable, and activation-ready strategic content for AI-enabled use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and enhance strategic content management processes aligned to SAMai operating models and roadmap, including integration to OASIS.
  • Serve as a central point of contact across Brand, Medical, Commercial, IT, Regulatory, Legal, and agency teams for content stewardship and governance.
  • Own content integrity, metadata standards, taxonomy, tagging accuracy, and accessibility across SAMai and related repositories.
  • Collect, review, redact, upload, organize, and maintain approved strategic documents to ensure quality, compliance, and discoverability.
  • Maintain content libraries so only current, approved, and compliant materials remain available, including version control and retirement.
  • Develop resource guides, campaign pages, and collections to support brand consistency and strategic messaging.
  • Manage publishing, delivery, activation, and fulfillment workflows to enable timely, high-quality content across channels.
  • Coordinate user access administration for the UBP Updates Accelerator, including onboarding, role changes, and removals per governance policies.
  • Track and resolve platform issues and support requests in partnership with business and IT teams, while supporting adoption and training.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve content governance, process efficiency, and operational excellence across brands and markets.
  • Conduct periodic content audits, identify gaps, and collaborate to maintain comprehensive coverage of strategic assets within MLx and CASA.
  • Monitor content usage, reuse, accessibility, and quality metrics. Provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and AI-driven enhancements across taxonomy, workflows, and lifecycle management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5+ years in content management, knowledge management, content governance, SOP management, or operations excellence.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills across multiple teams and levels.
  • Hands-on experience with document-intensive processes, quality review, redaction, compliance checks, and version control.
  • Operational process design, workflow optimization, change management, and project management capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Life Science, Information Management, Digital Content Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Brand marketing experience and support for strategic planning, brand strategy, or content governance initiatives.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, digital asset repositories, and metadata/taxonomy best practices.
  • Experience overseeing vendor, agency, or external partner relationships.
