Description
We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to help create high-quality, high-performing digital content that supports innovative, cohesive, accessible, and compliant user experiences. This role partners with UX writers to edit and refine content across digital channels, ensuring content is clear, consistent, user-focused, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Copy edit and refine digital content created by UX writers for websites, mobile applications, videos, emails, text messages, and push notifications.
- Apply SEO best practices, accessibility guidelines, AP style, brand standards, and company style guides to ensure content quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Write and edit long-form content using SEO principles, UX writing best practices, and application flows to support effective digital experiences.
- Review content and layouts in Figma and Microsoft Word, providing edits, comments, and recommendations to improve clarity, usability, and consistency.
- Apply content design language systems and design system standards to maintain consistent terminology, tone, and messaging across digital channels.
- Support UX writers in developing cohesive content experiences that address customer needs and help achieve business objectives.
- Use SEO research and keyword insights to evaluate content and recommend improvements, including reviewing information in SEMrush as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of copy-editing experience, including familiarity with SEO, AP style, company style guides, and content design language systems.
- Experience editing digital content across multiple channels, such as websites, mobile applications, emails, videos, and notifications.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to apply them to digital and long-form content.
- Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines and their application to digital content.
- Experience reviewing and editing content in Microsoft Word and collaborating through document comments and revisions.
- Ability to work with UX writers and independently manage competing assignments and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
