Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator (Part Time)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for developing, creating, and managing engaging digital content that strengthens Discover Echo's brand presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital channels. This role supports the marketing team by producing high-quality photo and video content, coordinating social media activities, and helping communicate Discover Echo's products, technology, and customer stories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, film, edit, and publish engaging short-form videos, photos, and graphics for social media.
• Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
• Develop content highlighting Discover Echo products, applications, customers, and company culture.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to support campaigns, product launches, and events.
• Capture on-site photos and videos of products, demonstrations, employees, and customer activities.
• Write compelling social media copy aligned with the Discover Echo brand voice.
• Monitor engagement and social media performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and content best practices.
• Assist with website, email marketing, and other digital marketing initiatives as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education / Work Experience

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience creating digital content.
• Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar).
• Interest in science, laboratory technology, or life sciences is a plus.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong photography, videography, and visual storytelling abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with social media analytics and content planning tools is preferred.
   

Compensation And Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $30,000 annually.
