Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned director, works in partnership with the district and site leadership teams, governance, the community, families, and agencies to assess assets and needs, ensure efficient coordination of student and family support services. Plans, organizes, and facilitates increased understanding and collective leadership for Community Schools, including professional learning, workshops, communications, publications, and events. Plans, organizes, and assists with facilitating a county Community of Practice (CoP), including district, school, and community partners, to engage in asset mapping, gap analysis, professional learning, and action planning to ensure a coherent implementation of Community Schools and wrap around services for all students. This position is located in Bakersfield, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Credentials: 1. Must hold an appropriate Administrative credential (or be eligible for an administrative preliminary, intern, or waiver credential and obtain and maintain that credential upon receiving a job offer) 2. Must hold appropriate California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential (s). 3. Master's or doctorate degree required. Experience: 1. Successful experience in classroom teaching and/or service utilizing the PPS Credential. 2. Successful experience in a leadership role at a school site and/or district office. 3. Successful experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs. 4. Successful experience in coordinating and conducting professional development activities. Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver's license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
