Job Description

We are seeking a Content Central Librarian to support a mature digital asset management program that serves as the central repository for marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital asset management, content operations, metadata and taxonomy governance, and compliance-aligned brand stewardship and a proven ability to deliver accurate, compliant, and retrievable assets at scale for a global user base.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with agencies on asset delivery and file receipt.
  • Reconcile reports to ensure all files are uploaded into AEM Assets and Content Central.
  • Provide user support globally on workflows, file retrieval, access, and downloads, overcoming language obstacles as needed.
  • Provision new-user access and deliver site usability training.
  • Standardize and govern metadata and taxonomy for asset entry, including rights and usage attributes.
  • Perform file retrieval and fulfill user inquiries for reusable assets and design files.
  • Create PDFs for thumbnails and convert PDFs to Adobe file formats as required.
  • Audit and monitor system access for internal and external users to maintain compliance.
  • Assist change management and drive adoption of Content Central and related repositories.
  • Ensure all content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, creative agencies, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Support omnichannel, brand, legal, medical, and regulatory (MLR) teams to meet compliance standards.
  • Facilitate review and approval workflows for new and updated content.
  • Assist developing training materials and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve content management processes and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with digital asset management (DAM) systems or content repository administration. AEM Assets experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience in content management, DAM, or a similar role with large-scale user bases.
  • Strong understanding of brand guidelines, compliance, and regulatory requirements, including MLR-adjacent workflows.
  • Experience managing metadata standards and taxonomy for asset libraries, including rights and usage compliance.
  • Customer service experience in a technical or systems environment with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with CMS and DAM tools. Knowledge of AEM Assets preferred.
  • Knowledge of Macintosh (MACs), Microsoft Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to create thumbnails and handle file conversions.
  • Proficient in leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Systems, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats.
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience.
  • Training or onboarding experience for enterprise users and stakeholders.
  • Exposure to rights management, licensing workflows, and SAAS-based enterprise content platforms beyond AEM.

Work Environment & Logistics

  • Work Location: Princeton Pike office. Hybrid schedule with 50% onsite over two-week increments.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Travel: None.
  • Physical Demands: Office environment with periods of sitting.

  • User Base: Approximately 69,175 global users with about 20,000 files uploaded per year.
  • Scope: Includes management of Content Central and related content repositories such as reference and strategic asset libraries.
