Content Associate – Communications Passaic County, NJ

We are seeking a talented and motivated Content Associate to join our Communications team. This opportunity is open to emerging professionals early in their careers as well as experienced communications, content, or editorial specialists. We are willing to consider candidates from entry level through experienced professionals based on their writing ability, research skills, and overall fit.
The Content Associate will support a broad range of corporate communications initiatives, including writing, copy editing, research, social media, content development, and presentations. The role will work primarily within the Communications department while also collaborating with other areas of the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys researching complex topics, translating information into clear and engaging content, and working with writers, researchers, senior leadership, and external sources. Content will focus primarily on business and technology within the global insurance industry.

- Write and copy-edit press releases, social media content, marketing materials, website content, and other public-facing communications.
- Develop and edit articles, interviews, presentations, slideshows, and other content for industry audiences.
- Research, compile, draft, and copy-edit white papers, reports, and thought leadership materials using both original and acquired research.
- Conduct thorough and accurate research on business, technology, insurance, and industry-related topics.
- Collaborate with researchers, writers, graphic designers, senior leadership, and other internal teams to develop high-quality print and digital content.
- Write engaging blog posts and industry-focused content and assist with promoting content through social media and digital channels.
- Assist with developing presentations, internal communications, and other corporate materials.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all written materials.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide communications support to other departments and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Open to entry-level candidates and experienced professionals. Professional writing, communications, journalism, marketing, or content experience is a plus.
- 2–3 years of professional experience preferred, but strong emerging professionals with relevant internships, academic work, writing experience, or demonstrated capabilities are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in insurance, finance, financial services, technology, or another business-related industry is a plus.
- Strong research, writing, proofreading, and copy-editing abilities.
- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and written English.
- Ability to take complex information and communicate it in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, polished work under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable writing for a variety of audiences and communication channels.
- Ability to create professional, creative, and on-brand social media and digital content.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive, curious, motivated, and willing to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment and contributing to group projects and initiatives.
