Role Overview

The Container Infrastructure Engineer will support the enhancement, maintenance, and operationalization of the OpenShift platform. This position will serve as an OpenShift-focused infrastructure resource, supporting containerization, automation, DevSecOps initiatives, observability, and platform engineering activities.

Production/client-facing OpenShift experience is preferred. Candidates who have passed, or are actively pursuing, the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) certification are also preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and operationalize OpenShift Operators.
• Support projects designed to enhance the capabilities and feature set of the OpenShift platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OpenShift, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Support logging, service mesh, monitoring, and observability platforms.
• Develop automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve infrastructure operations.
• Contribute to the team's infrastructure automation initiatives.
• Support DevSecOps automation and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with application development teams on containerization and infrastructure requirements.
• Support CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins.
• Work with event-driven frameworks and related technologies.
• Utilize AWS services and tools within the infrastructure environment.
• Apply coding and scripting skills using Java, Shell, and Python.
• Participate in triage, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis activities.
