POSITION SUMMARY
Provide operational support for consumer lending activities by performing loan maintenance, collateral administration, quality control reviews, and customer service functions. This position supports lending staff, customers, and other associates by ensuring consumer loan transactions are processed accurately and timely while maintaining compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain loan files, collateral records, and related documentation in an organized and secure manner.
- Perform maintenance and servicing functions on consumer loan accounts.
- Process collateral releases, including UCC filings, electronic liens and titles, and deposit account collateral releases.
- Complete quality control reviews and participate in collateral audits as assigned.
- Process loan-related refunds, overpayments, and rejected payment adjustments.
- Respond to customer, lending staff, and associate inquiries regarding loan account information and servicing matters. Provide professional and courteous customer service by phone and in person.
- Provide backup support and cross-functional assistance within Loan Operations as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
- Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.
