ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Clinical/Didactic Education
- Participate in the didactic and/or clinical education of optometry students; continually assess teaching methods for improvement of teaching effectiveness
- Precepts and monitors assigned student clinicians; completed student clinician evaluations in a timely manner
Patient Care
- Delivers appropriate patient care and management according to the clinical privileges granted by the TN Board of Optometry and the Vice President for Clinical Programs
- Completes documentation and correspondence related to the patient medical record in a timely manner
