Job Description Summary:
NAOU transportation is a $1B annual spend with over 600,000 shipments. The Customer Operations Transportation Team is responsible for ensuring we have the capacity needed from transportation providers to support the business at an optimum cost that also meets our service requirements to support our customers and facilities.
The role focuses on resolving transportation issues and supporting escalations to ensure continuity of service across the network. This position is also responsible for maintaining data and system accuracy within Oracle Transportation Management, as well as managing freight claims and weekly fuel surcharge programs. Success in the role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, a high attention to detail, effective communication with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to prioritize and act with urgency in a fast-paced operating environment.
