Consultant- Talent Sourcing Intermediate

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Talent Acquisition team in the role of Consultant-Talent Sourcing Intermediate.

This role emphasizes proactive research, strategic outreach, and engagement with passive candidates. The Talent Sourcing Consultant manages multiple requisitions simultaneously and provides insights that strengthen the overall recruiting strategy. The role also requires consistently meeting key performance metrics and driving talent attraction efforts targeted at passive audiences.

As a Talent Sourcing Consultant, you will focus on sourcing, attracting, and engaging top talent from all backgrounds using a variety of methods, social media, job boards, networking, and community outreach. You will research, develop, and implement tailored recruitment strategies that reach a broad and diverse pool of candidates while building strong relationships with universities, external organizations, and community groups to expand the talent pipeline. In partnership with stakeholders, the talent sourcing team, talent acquisition consultants, and hiring managers, you will help shape recruitment strategies, job descriptions, and interview processes that reflect our organizational values. You will conduct screening discussions to assess candidates' qualifications and maintain ongoing engagement with passive talent for future hiring needs. By keeping accurate candidate records and analyzing recruitment metrics, you will provide insights that support continuous improvement of our hiring initiatives. Staying current on recruitment trends and best practices ensures you can share valuable knowledge with the team and contribute to an effective, inclusive talent acquisition strategy.

Reports to: Manager- Talent Acquisition

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required, or equivalent years of experience within a matrixed organization, healthcare setting preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruiting/Sourcing experience.

  • Requires strong knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques.

  • Requires experience using applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms and other recruitment tools.
