Description At Liberty, our Personal Lines Property & Specialty Product team partners across the company to design and launch home and specialty insurance solutions - from homeowners (property) and condos to renters and other niche lines (specialty)- that meet evolving customer and agent needs. We are seeking a highly motivated senior analyst to join the External Solutions & Insights team in Personal Lines Property & Specialty Product. This role will lead moderate to high complexity analyses, build and use reporting and monitoring tools and develop and communicate recommendations related to the third-party data and vendor ecosystem. This individual will own workstreams on moderate to high complexity projects and will help advance our third-party data strategy to maximize value and drive desired business outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Develop and perform complex analyses, including proof of concept testing for vendor data, to help drive business decisions. • Advanced querying of data to conduct analysis and build tools and creates queries for others to use. • Build and utilize monitoring tools to assess performance of third-party data providers. • Conduct thorough research to identify and propose changes to our third-party data ecosystem and product offerings. • Provide thoughtful recommendations on third-party data ecosystem, presenting to manager and leadership as appropriate. • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners as needed. • Own work streams for moderate to high complexity projects. • Actively shares job knowledge with less experienced analysts. • May create and/or be owner of training material content. • May be assigned to mentor a new hire. • May supervise interns.
The ideal candidate will have:
Highly skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, SQL, Snowflake) Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Self-starter and curious with strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of Personal Lines Property insurance products is beneficial.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 3 years relevant work experience, typically 4 years. Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem). Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
