Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Utilization Management (UM) Market Enablement Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in integrating Nevada-specific UM regulatory, clinical, and operational requirements into enterprise UM optimization initiatives and the development of the new UM technology platform.
This professional will work collaboratively with product, technology, clinical, and Nevada market teams to translate market needs into compliant system design, workflows, and business requirements. The Market Enablement Lead will guide market-level validation activities-including design reviews, system build assessments, and testing-to ensure alignment with Nevada UM regulations and operational expectations.
This role will also support comprehensive market readiness efforts, including workflow development, operational planning, training support, and creation of implementation playbooks. Following implementation, the Market Enablement Lead will provide stabilization oversight, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, mitigate defects, and ensure continued compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
Job Summary:
Serves as a consultant to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Provides insight and supports the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Contributes to business strategy and supports organizational alignment and prioritization of business initiatives. Manages complex projects or project components, participates in and may lead change management activities, and performs data analyses in support of business initiatives. Supports vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring business plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
