Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as Contract Specialist for the Engineering Consultant Section at ADOT.
- Review, reconcile, and approve accounting transactions and accounts payable per contract requirements.
- Manage and oversee construction contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Review and approve payment reports and invoices.
- Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in daily tasks.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat for documentation and reporting.
- Analyze and monitor budgets and expenditures.
- Organize and prioritize multiple work assignments effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and support contract management processes.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure contract compliance.
- Preferred: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Work on-site in Phoenix, AZ office at least two times per week (hybrid schedule).
- Temporary contract position for approximately 6 months.
