Job Summary (List Format):- Serve as Contract Specialist for the Engineering Consultant Section at ADOT.- Review, reconcile, and approve accounting transactions and accounts payable per contract requirements.- Manage and oversee construction contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.- Review and approve payment reports and invoices.- Apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in daily tasks.- Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat for documentation and reporting.- Analyze and monitor budgets and expenditures.- Organize and prioritize multiple work assignments effectively.- Maintain accurate records and support contract management processes.- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure contract compliance.- Preferred: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.- Work on-site in Phoenix, AZ office at least two times per week (hybrid schedule).- Temporary contract position for approximately 6 months.
