Murphy’s Family Staffing is hiring construction workers, skilled tradespeople, helpers, carpenters, drywall workers, electricians, plumbers, roofers, siding installers, production workers, and general laborers for a busy modular home manufacturing facility in Scranton, PA.
Experienced construction workers AND dependable entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
If you have experience building houses, remodeling, working construction, using hand and power tools, or working in manufacturing — we want to talk to you.
PAY
Starting pay is $15–$18 per hour base, plus a $2 per hour attendance bonus, for a potential total of $17–$20 per hour.
(The $2.00/hr attendance bonus is in addition to base pay and is not part of the base rate. Employees who report to work every scheduled day and arrive on time earn the bonus.)
There are also opportunities for advancement and additional consideration based on experience, performance, dependability, and department needs.

WORK SCHEDULE - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Monday through Friday
Start Time: 6:00 AM
The facility's standard production shift has traditionally been 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; however, production is currently behind and employees MUST be willing and available to stay until production is completed.
Employees should currently expect to work until approximately 4:30 PM–5:30 PM when required.
If you are only available until 2:30 PM every day, this position is not a good fit at this time.
We need people who are willing to work the hours necessary to help production get caught up.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We need people who:
Show up every day and show up on time
Have reliable transportation to the Scranton facility
Are willing to work until approximately 4:30–5:30 PM when production requires it
Can work with their hands and use basic tools
Can follow instructions and work as part of a production team
Are comfortable in a fast-paced construction/manufacturing environment
Take safety, attendance, and dependability seriously
Want steady, full-time work
Experience with residential construction, modular homes, manufactured housing, carpentry, framing, drywall, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical, remodeling, homebuilding, warehouse work, or manufacturing is highly desirable.
