Construction Worker
Location: Bellflower, CA / Project Sites Throughout Southern California

Pay: $25-$30/hour, depending on experience
About the Opportunity
Our client seeking an experienced Construction Worker to join its team supporting projects throughout Southern California. This is not a general labor position. We are looking for someone who has hands-on construction experience and knows how to build, repair, install, and complete a variety of construction-related tasks.
The ideal candidate is well-rounded, dependable, and comfortable working independently or alongside a construction team. You should have practical experience with drywall, painting, basic carpentry, repairs, installations, and other skilled construction work.

Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on construction, repair, and installation work at various project sites
- Install, repair, patch, and finish drywall
- Perform interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation and touch-ups
- Complete basic carpentry, framing, installation, and general building tasks
- Perform demolition and reconstruction work as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, assemble, install, and repair construction materials
- Assist with punch-list work, tenant improvements, repairs, and project closeout activities
- Read measurements and follow instructions, plans, and project specifications
- Identify basic construction issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow company and jobsite safety requirements
- Work effectively with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and other field personnel
- Travel to project sites throughout Southern California as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous hands-on construction experience required
- Must have experience beyond basic/general labor
- Experience with drywall installation and repair
- Painting and surface preparation experience
- Basic carpentry and general building experience
- Comfortable using common construction hand and power tools
- Ability to measure accurately and complete construction tasks with limited supervision
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work at different project locations
- Able to perform physical construction work, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and working on active jobsites
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Ideal Background
Candidates with previous experience as a Construction Worker, Skilled Laborer, Construction Technician, Carpenter Helper, Maintenance Technician, Handyman, Drywall Installer, Painter, or similar hands-on construction position are encouraged to apply.
Compensation
$25-$30/hour, depending on experience.
