We are looking for a competent Construction Warehouse Laborer Candidate. You will be the one to help maintain cleanliness & general labor/assisting task at our warehouse/yard. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules are important.
Responsibilities
- Assist tradesmen
- Erect and break up wood crates, etc. with attention to safety
- Unload shipments and carry materials at warehouse using forklift
- Use equipment to break old forms and structures
- Clean/unload multiple trucks from debris from job sites and discarded material
- Light Janitorial - Clean Restrooms/Toliets/ Etc.
- Sweep Floor
- Pull weeds/clean sidewalk (gardening)
Skills
- Exposure to all weather conditions
- Noise levels may be loud at times
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods
- Proven experience as construction worker
- Experience in operating equipment like drills, hammers, ladders, saws, etc.
- Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
