Tetra Tech is looking for full time and part time temporary Construction Technicians who will perform tasks involving heavy equipment operations at various sites. Shall have the ability to operate safely, efficiently, and effectively wheel loaders, excavators, dozers, and compaction equipment. Your Role:
May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, excavate pits, install shoring and other trench safety apparatuses, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers.
Salary range is between $33-37 per hour
Qualifications:
: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the construction and remediation industry, preferred. •
Must have valid driver license in good standing. Commercial Class A License preferred.

This work will be performed outside, even during inclement weather. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work environments include remediation sites, sites requiring traffic controls, remote locations supporting Cal-Fire and US Forest Service operations and general commercial and industrial construction activities. Majority of work performed will be outside and can include work during inclement weather and temperatures ranging from freezing to above 100 degrees F.
Language & Communication Skills: Must be fluent in the English language - speaking, reading, and writing.
Mathematical Skills: Must possess basic math skills.
