Metropolitan Companies is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join our team! The Superintendent will manage the schedule and activities of the project for Multi-Family Apartment complexes in Haverford Square by Metropolitan. Key Responsibilities
• Leading the on-site construction team and overseeing all construction activities • Hosting and attending office and on-site construction meetings • Managing and updating the project timeline to ensure contractual deadlines are met • Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness • Ensuring quality standards are met • Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs • Take meeting minutes, upload photographs and update project schedules • Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals • Maintain client satisfaction
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Competencies: • Construction knowledge and ability to read blueprints • Ability to lead a team of subcontractors and field carpenters • Proficiency with taking and uploading digital photographs • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills • Outstanding organizational skills • Able to follow and understand Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Requirements: • 5+ years’ experience in commercial or multifamily construction • Ability to comply with all safety procedures and policies • Valid Driver’s License Preferred: • Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent • OSHA 30 training • Proficiency in Procore or similar software
