Commercial Construction Site ManagerOur client is an established, privately held general contractor with a strong presence in the Statesboro and Savannah markets. With a culture centered on integrity, accountability, and long-term client relationships, they combine the agility of a mid sized firm with the expertise of a seasoned builder.Job DescriptionLead all field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects from site development through project closeout.Manage and coordinate site work activities, including earthwork, grading, underground utilities, drainage, and paving.Develop and maintain construction schedules, look-ahead plans, and subcontractor sequencing.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and onsite personnel.Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements through regular site inspections and safety meetings.Monitor construction quality and proactively identify and resolve field issues and deficiencies.Coordinate inspections, testing, permits, utility providers, and jurisdictional requirements.Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, Architects, and Consultants to maintain project progress and resolve challenges.Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.Identify potential schedule impacts, scope changes, and project risks, and assist in developing mitigation plans.Lead project commissioning, punch list completion, final inspections, and owner turnover activities.Foster a professional, productive job site culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and client satisfaction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
