Construction Superintendent - Commercial - Baton Rouge, LA

Work with a General Contractor that has been in business over 50 yearsManage large Commercial projects across the Baton Rouge area 4+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent. Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.

• Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and address any issues promptly.
• Manage project resources efficiently, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment among team members and subcontractors.

• Ability to utilize technology such as Procore for day-to-day processes
• Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
• Desire to stay local in Louisiana
