Prestige is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day construction operations on a $20 million project in Arvada, CO.
This is a hybrid Project Manager / Superintendent position responsible for the on‑the‑ground execution of the project. You will report directly to the Construction Manager, who maintains authority over budget and quality control. Within that framework, you will run the job: managing daily field activities, driving the schedule, coordinating trades and inspections, and keeping the project on track from start to finish.
This role is ideal for someone who wants ownership of day‑to‑day construction execution without carrying budget or contract‑level responsibility — those decisions remain with the Construction Manager. You are the person ensuring the right work happens, in the right order, on time, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑Day Field Management — Oversee daily on‑site construction activities across all 44 townhome units, ensuring safe, efficient, and spec‑accurate work.
- Scheduling — Develop, maintain, and enforce the master construction schedule. Sequence trades, anticipate bottlenecks, and adjust as needed to keep the project on pace.
- Inspections — Coordinate and attend all city, county, and third‑party inspections. Track results, manage corrections, and maintain a clean inspection record.
- Subcontractor & Trade Coordination — Manage subcontractor scheduling, sequencing, and daily coordination. Hold trades accountable to schedule and quality expectations.
- Site Safety — Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Documentation & Reporting — Maintain daily logs, track progress, and provide regular updates to the Construction Manager on field activity, schedule status, and issues requiring attention.
- Quality Oversight in the Field — Monitor in‑progress work for conformance with plans and specifications, flag issues early, and coordinate corrections. Final QC sign‑off remains with the Construction Manager.
Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Project Manager and/or Construction Superintendent on multifamily or residential construction projects
- Demonstrated experience managing vertical construction on multi‑unit developments
- Strong scheduling skills (Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar preferred)
- Working knowledge of inspection processes for multifamily construction
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple trades and keep the job moving without daily oversight
- Comfortable operating within a defined budget/quality framework while owning execution
This position reports to the Construction Manager, who retains final authority over project budget and quality control. The Project Manager / Superintendent is responsible for all other day‑to‑day management of the project.
