    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Work closely with the Director of Design and Construction and assist with any tasks assigned on a daily basis related to ongoing projects.
    • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
    • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
    • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
    • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
    • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
    • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails as directed by the department manager.
    • Communicate with subcontractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives as directed by the department manager.
    • Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
    • Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • Strong attention to detail and organization.
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
    • Must possess interpersonal skills to deal effectively with business contacts and employees at all levels of the company.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers, and general public.
    • Must have a strong background with Excel spreadsheets.
    • Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is required.
    • Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
    • Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Must have 3 years' experience in clerical construction or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, and balancing during the duration of their shift.
    • Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 25lbs or less occasionally.
    • The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both hands and require frequent light and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
    • Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud or quiet at times.
