Construction Site Traffic Coordinator & Certified Forklift Operator
HardHat is seeking a skilled professional in Cape Canaveral, Florida to keep busy construction sites moving safely and efficiently. You’ll direct the flow of trucks, time deliveries, and jump on a forklift to support offloading when needed.
A day in the role
- Stage and guide construction vehicles to reduce congestion and maintain safe access on active sites.
- Coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries and communicate with drivers, foremen, and site leadership.
- Operate forklifts to assist with unloading materials when required, following all safety procedures.
- Make confident, fast decisions under pressure to keep the job progressing without incident.
What you bring
- Forklift Licensed and confident operating around active construction.
- Hands-on experience routing trucks and coordinating deliveries on job sites.
- Sterling background screening completion.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Calm under pressure with strong situational awareness and safety focus.
