Construction Site Superintendent - Luxury Residential

The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with strong experience coordinating trades, interpreting construction documents, and delivering detail-oriented interior projects. Our Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for high-end, luxury residential renovation projects.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annually
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Scope of Projects: up to $5M

Position Summary:
Our Construction Site Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities for high-end, luxury residential renovation projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with strong experience coordinating trades, interpreting construction documents, and delivering detail-oriented interior projects.

Construction Site Superintendent -Luxury Residential Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Oversee all phases of construction from start through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, materials, and equipment
• Maintain project schedule and ensure timely completion of work

Quality Control:

• Ensure all work conforms to drawings, specifications, and design intent
• Monitor workmanship for quality, accuracy, and finish
• Identify and address deficiencies promptly

Coordination & Communication:

• Work closely with Project Managers, architects, and designers
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and field coordination issues
• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce site safety in accordance with NYC regulations and SST requirements
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental standards

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain daily logs, reports, and site documentation
• Prepare lookahead schedules and progress updates
• Track and maintain drawings, submittals, and project records on site

Field Oversight:

• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and plan upcoming work
• Ensure subcontractors are executing their scope of work per contract
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
• Open and secure the job site daily

Construction Site Superintendent -Luxury Residential Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of Superintendent experience in residential and/or interior construction.
• Experience with high-end residential renovations preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
• NYC SST 62-Hour Supervisor Card (required)

• Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
