Construction Site Manager

We are looking for a Site Manager who will be responsible for on-site management of an assigned Industrial/Petrochemical project and crew. The site manager will be responsible for providing job-site leadership to a crew and liaising with the clients to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crews complete daily job reports, SLAM books, THAs, safety briefings, and stretching program; tracks production, hours, and equipment via HCSS Heavy Job on iPad
• Develops and coordinates future tasks across multiple crews to ensure project completion
• Ensures crew members safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, install water/storm/sewer pipe and structures, and form/pour/finish concrete
• Ensure daily equipment inspections are completed and recorded
• Directs and manages at least two crew members simultaneously
• Liaises with clients, reports progress to staff and public, and travels between job sites as needed
• Buys materials, monitors build costs/progress, and prepares/checks site reports, designs, and drawings
• Maintains quality control
• Provides hiring, promotion, and termination recommendations given significant weight in final decisions

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
• OSHA 30
• Valid Class B CDL and clean driving record
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• The average work week would consist of 5 ten-hour days, but schedule will be dictated by project needs.
• Must be able to work out of town, sometimes out of state, and for lengths of time, such as the job would dictate.
