Job Description

Seeking an experienced construction safety professional to lead and support environmental, health, and safety initiatives across commercial construction projects. This role partners with project teams and leadership to develop safety strategies, conduct inspections, deliver training, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Champion and promote a Zero Injury safety culture.
  • Review project schedules and proactively identify safety risks.
  • Build strong relationships with project teams, craft personnel, regional leadership, and safety professionals.
  • Develop and execute action plans to improve regional safety performance.
  • Maintain a strong presence on project sites and provide timely support for safety-related concerns.
  • Partner with project management teams on site-specific safety planning and execution.
  • Conduct pre-construction safety meetings, contractor orientations, jobsite inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent application of safety procedures across projects and regions.
  • Review contractor prequalification packages and site-specific safety plans for compliance.
  • Assist in developing, revising, and implementing safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Support emergency response planning and preparedness efforts.
  • Analyze safety data and provide reporting, regulatory guidance, and recommendations to leadership.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required; Environmental Health & Safety or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction safety leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
  • Experience developing and delivering employee safety training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
