POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Construction Safety Coordinator

Pay Rate: $24 - $26

Location: Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Walk the site to identify safety concerns including hazards related to access, ladders, lifts, and fall protection
• Monitor PPE compliance and general work practices
• Document safety observations and communicate concerns to the superintendent and project manager
• Assist with daily safety documentation, pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and worker orientations
• Help ensure subcontractor employees follow project-specific and OSHA requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
• OSHA 30 Construction card
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED training
• Previous commercial construction site experience
• Ability to recognize common construction hazards
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Reliable transportation to the site

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience with daily safety reports, JHAs, JSAs, or pre-task plans (preferred)
• Familiarity with fall protection, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and ladders (preferred)
