    Job Summary
    We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction/Remediation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the construction/remediation projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in heavy equipment operations, environmental regulations, safety, budgeting, remediation methods, and environmental treatment systems with a proven track record of successful project completions. 

    Responsibilities 
    • Manage all aspects of the project - Budget, Schedule, Compliance, QA/QC, etc.
    • Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers
    • Secure necessary permits and licenses
    • Ensure all professionals on site comply with safety regulations
    • Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
    • Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
    • Coordinate subcontractors and outside contractors
    • Supervise and direct laborers and equipment operators
    • Report on progress
    • Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
    • Foster teamwork and collaborative relationships with clients, engineers, supervisors, operators, laborers, and subcontractors.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, environmental science or a related field is preferred
    • Previous experience as a Remediation/Construction Manager or Supervisor
    • Project management certification is preferred
    • Deep understanding of OSHA, RCRA, remediaton and  construction management methods and processes
    • Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes
    • Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applicaitons (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project)
    • Experience with Trimble Base Stations and Rover applications
    • Ability to break large projects into small steps
    Training Requirements
        * Current Certifications Required:
                40 Hour HAZWHOPER with current 8 Hour Refresher
                EM-385 Safety Training
                30 Hour OSHA Construction Training
               DOT Hazardous Materials Training
       * Preferred, but Not Required:
               USACE QC Training
               Site Safety Officer Training
               First Aid/CPR/AED Training
