Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (occasional evening and weekend work may be required)

Overview
System One is seeking a Quality Coordinator to support construction projects by ensuring all work complies with contract documents, specifications, and schedules through field inspections, quality oversight, and coordination with project management. Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical equipment and piping, overseeing testing and commissioning activities, managing NCRs and corrective actions, and maintaining quality documentation, as-built records, and project turnover packages. This is great opportunity to join a a full-service mechanical contractor delivering end-to-end project support, from bidding through on-time completion, across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C!

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the VP of Operations.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and coordinate activities of designated construction projects to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame.
• Ensure work is completed successfully per the specifications and plans.
• Perform daily visual, dimensional, mechanical field checks on piping & equipment to ensure the work is in strict accordance with the contract documents.
• Execute/Oversee site inspections according to the contract documents.
• Inspect incoming mechanical equipment, valves, and piping components against approved submittals, mill test reports (MTRs), and packing lists.
• Witness and document pressure tests, such as hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of piping systems.
• Identify, document, and track work deviations or defects, issuing NCRs and working with field superintendents on corrective actions.
• Maintain daily quality logs, as-built markup records, and project turnover packages for the client.

• 5+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Ability to oversee projects and employees.
• Ability to compute and interpret charts and graphs.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize all work assignments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse individuals.
