Project: Space Force microgrid upgrade
Project Duration: Four years
We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager for a $130 million, four-year microgrid upgrade project in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The QC Manager will oversee construction quality and verify that work meets contract requirements, plans, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Manage quality control activities across the project’s major construction trades.
Coordinate inspections and maintain accurate quality control records.
Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify resolution.
Work with project leadership and subcontractors to address quality issues.
Monitor work and materials for compliance with approved plans and specifications.
Apply knowledge of EM 385-1-1, hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of combined construction experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.
Experience on construction contracts of similar size and type involving the major trades included in this project.
At least two years of experience as a QC Manager.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
Familiarity with EM 385-1-1.
Experience with hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
