Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications Education: •AA/AS or certificate from an accredited community college, or equivalent work experience; BA/BS preferred Experience with state agencies such as the Office of Public School Construction, CA Dept. of Education, and Division of the State Architect is desirable Experience: •Five years of increasingly responsible experience or training providing the knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential job functions Five years of professional experience in public/facilities planning, school construction, commercial construction, or a similar field; multi-project environment experience preferred Desired/Preferred Licenses & Certifications: •Licensed Building Contractor •Certified Construction Manager •Professional Registered Engineer •Registered Architect •LEED Accredited Professional Application Requirements Any combination equivalent to the following must be submitted: •Letter of interest, addressed to Mark Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources •Current resume •Three letters of recommendation, dated within the last three months •All valid certificates, licenses, and/or credentials •AA/BA degree or transcripts
