We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Must have experience working with a General Contractor/Construction Management company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Coordinate subcontractors/suppliers/labor/material activities on project construction sites
- Oversee/ensure construction project safety
- Verify time/material work
- Obtain/review checklist to ensure subcontractor readiness for mobilization.
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Qualifications:
- BA in engineering, construction science or similar relevant field
- OSHA 10/30 Certification, building maintenance/carpentry experience
- CPR/AD Certified, helpful but not required
- Previous Commercial Construction experience and/or previous supervisor experience.
- 5 years previous working experience as construction superintendent
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software (ProCore, Timberline, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project)
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
