Construction Project Superintendent

Career Connection Network has a new opening for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Project Superintendent who can provide overall on-site administrative and technical management on construction project sites. 

This direct hire position with a growing, well respected company offers a salary of $85K - $90K and an opportunity for dedicated professionals committed to excellence in construction project delivery.

Duties will include:

• Supervising total construction efforts to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.
• Planing, coordinating and supervising onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.)
• Supervising craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
• Authorizing and/or approving all project personnel transactions, purchase requisitions, field design change requests, etc.
• Providing technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
• Assisting project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
• Ensuring all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Documenting all violations, notifying project management, recommending/implementing corrective actions as required.
• Assuming responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
  Performing additional assignments per Supervisor's direction.
